The Institute of Professional Willwriters was founded with two principle aims:
- To promote the highest standards within the Will writing profession
- To protect the interests of the consumer & it’s members.
As Members of the IPW:
- We are qualified by examination to write Wills & associated documents.
- Carry £2million Professional Indemnity Insurance to protect our clients.
- Have at least £2million Public Liability insurance cover.
- Undergone a Disclosure & Barring Service vetting procedure.
- Ensure continual professional development to update our knowledge.
- Subject to the Institute’s Code of Practice which has been approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute under its Consumer Codes Approval Scheme
